In 1980, Dave secured his bike to a trailer, stuffed some clothes in a bag, grabbed his prized record collection of hymns played on the sitar, and set out in search of adventure, fame, and romance in the glittery glare of laid-back Los Angeles. Not long after settling in, he paid this tribute to some special people back in his hometown, the Sunshine State. Although the bar depicted here is imaginary, the old friends from Florida shown whooping it up at Brandon's are quite real. For example, there's Stoney, a good friend who was nailed on his way to work by a woman running a stop sign. Stoney is the guy on the bike, doing a burnout at the bar while the other patrons react to the ear-splitting entertainment. Gary Barbour makes an appearance,   and at the far left, lost beneath his cowboy hat, is none other than Arlen Ness. Then there's Brandon himself, the guy toward the right wearing an eye patch. It was Brandon who stayed up till the wee hours one night, helping Dave scribble all those names on the wall as a chronicle and tribute to his friends in Florida - as well as some new ones in California.

Great vintage motorcycle artwork print to decorate your office, garage, basement, rec room, man cave & more! Makes a great gift!
