The engine is an air-cooled single cylinder four-stroke that is operated by the normal type of push rods and rocker arms that are found in many other machines. The thing that is quite different about this engine though, is the fact that it is placed in a horizontalk position in the frame. This gives the engine and gearbox assembly a long look which is further accentuated by the cooling fins which also are place on a horizontal plane...
